Default Learning to Build Klein Mountain Bike

I have a Klein Attitude Comp frame. Where should I go (is there a book?) to learn how to build it and pick the correct parts. It seems to me it should be pretty easy to figure out (just buy an XT group and put it on). Will I need special tools?
Although the internal cable has me a little concerned (do I need a special one and how do I thread it?)
Thanks.

lo,
everything you may probably need:

http://www.parktool.com

XT group is solid (not sure why people pay 4 xtr), although the 04 is going to have those wanky combo brake shifter units. ( i know magazine reviewers luv 'um, but some of us have to have jobs and relace stuff when it brakes so it helps to have less compatability problems)

internal cables look sweet, but I'm glad i don't have to change them. don't listen to the people who moan about klien, since trek bought them, the frames are still solid and smooth, and just that cut above most of the rest

Cheers
Steve

Great fun building your own bike.

Suggest you buy your all your parts from a good local IBD so that if you have problems they will be willing to help you sort them out. A good IBD will encourage you, and may also lend you specialized tools that may be required, for example a B/B cup socket.

Care patience and common sense will get you a great bike.

www.sheldonbrown.com is a web site that you may find helpful.

Good luck and good riding.
