Exclamation Need Turn Signals and Brake Lights

My gas-burning friends need more visuals while they talk on those cell phones and sit in traffic. OK I know I'm asking alot. But this is survivor stuff here!

I need an LED assembly that'll do:

1. Amber turn signals that can be seen from the front, back and side in Seattle Fog and rain----waterproof

2. A motorcycle size Brake light that can also be seen partially from the side.

3. Has to hold up under thousands of miles (n$t s$me t$y that dies on the first pot hole).

Can a motorcycle shop do this?
If not where can I buy such an assembly?

I also saw recently on the internet a set of ready made direction idicators and brake lamps for sale in the UK but for the life of me cant find the site again.. sorry.

I got one (don't know if it's as big as a motorchycles) from Avenir -- do an online search for it. Installing it is dauntine me, but that's me.

the problem is I don't know if drivers will know what they are telling them. they don't expect that on a bike.
I htin kthe best bet is a good set of xenon strobes. they can't ignore them they are bright in the daylight.
remember you can lead a horse to water but (G)

hmmm...if the turn signals are too close together, how will they know which one is on? When I look at the back of the motorcycle, they have a tail light in the middle as a point of reference.

Maybe I need all three in the back?

There's a semi-recumbent that's built in Oregon with the unlikely name of BigHA. It comes with turn signals and a rear brake light. www.bigha.com. Perhaps they'd sell you one of their electronics setups.

Wow their setup is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the insight! It'd be good to have everything hang off one *SMALL* battery.

I'll repost the price and details if they reply to my request!

The couple of scooter companies that I contacted do not re-sell light assemblies.... But
I found a great rear turn signal, brake and running lights. http://www.clipbrite.com

But nothing for the front of the bike. Still need small turn signals for each handle bar and a switch. Or a whole assembly that does front and back on one switch and one set of batteries.

Why is this so difficult?
