Cool Training partner in Hamilton,Ontario.

Looking for a training partner in the Hamilton,Ontario area.Male or female is fine or willing to join a group.I always ride alone and grow weary of the solitude!
Also does anyone know how to start a team or riding club?

There's a good number of road and off-road group ride in the Hamilton area, so it depends what you want and what's convinent for you. One example is the Scattolon bike shop 9am Sunday ride. This is a road cycling ride, often there are more than 50 riders there, and usually they do split into 2 or 3 groups ie, some riders do a faster and longer ride. The main group typically does about 100K. Afterwards they like to have lunch at Dimaggios.
Off-road there are groups that ride mainly in the Dundas Valley. Plus of course there are lots of events to ride in like the Paris to Ancaster or the Lake-to-Lake races.
