Default Saracen Bottom Bracket

I have a Saracen Dirt-Trax (98 model) and there is now definite movement in the BB. It looks like a Saracen branded crank so I was wondering a: what tools do I need to remove the crank and the BB unit, b: how do I do it and c: is the chainset on a UK bike the same side as the US (right-hand in the UK).

Thanks in advance,

Dr Spankle
