I'm racing a century through the mountains this weekend, and I'm wondering whether or not salt pills are recommended. I've never taken them before. Do Gatorade and Clif bars provide enough sodium for six to seven hours of sweating?

Not sure about Gatorade or Clif bars but I know Cytomax has enough.

I wouldn't use salt pills, just a drink with electrlites in. Even then for a long ride like this I'd be more concerned about getting the carbs in!

I'm not familiar with that one as it's not sold in the UK!
