Default What did you get for Christmas?

Delete this if there is a similar thread somewhere on here, I didn't see it...

I ordered 3 books that arrived on Christmas Day from Amazon....

The Complete Book of Long-Distance Cycling $13.97

The Heart Rate Monitor Book for cyclists $12.57

The Giants of Cycling $27.97

Should keep me busy for a few days!!!!

What did you get?

My wife was supposed to get a new TREK but it hasn't arrived yet... (We hoped it was going to be a fast bike too!).

A 2004 LeMond custom Tête De Course with Campy Record. (It was actually delivered to my door by Trek on Tuesday). I'm in the process of putting it together in the basement...

Wow guys, you all got such great stuff. I can't really compete with that, but here are my cycling Christmas presents: The DVD "Road to Paris" and a coffee-table book looking back at the 2003 cycling season.

I got a new Giro Exodus helmet and a copy of Lance's "second" book which I already had, so exchanged it for a copy of Aussie Oui, Oui, Oui (story of Aussie riders at TdeF).

Since then I've bought myself a new San Marco "Rolls" seat and a small pump and subscribed to a couple of bike magazines.

My wife is threatening to confiscate my credit cards!

I forgot to mention that I got The Tour 2003 DVD as well....
[One hour roller training]
If you play the 2nd DVD from stage 13 to 15 and train on a roller while watching it.... you almost finish at the same time as Lance on stage 15.....

I also got a Japanese DVD of an animated race in Spain...
It is good if you can understand Japanese...

http://us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.as...on-all/did-7314

The film is based on one episode of Kuroda Io 's famous manga of the same name, and is the tale of the Spanish cyclist Pepe as he competes in the Vuelta - a world famous cycling tour. One of the stops on the tour is Pepe's hometown, and as fate would have it, he rides in on the very same day that his brother is to get married to Pepe's former girlfriend, Carmen. Tired of playing second fiddle in relationships and on his own cycling team, Pepe decides that now is the time for him to control his own destiny....

"Nasu: Summer in Andalusia" is the directorial debut of longtime Studio Ghibli collaborator Kosaka Kitaro, and the first Japanese animation film ever to be selected for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
