Anyone know what standover height is on a 17.5" cove handjob with 100mm forK? I'm thinking about getting one but a guy at cove told me it was 32" standover. I'm thinking he either measured the wrong size or didn't know what he was talking about...
Also, if anyone has any other recommendations for a long(ish) travel steel hardtail in the $500(U.S.) range, I'd like to hear them.... Thanks, nathan |

I googled around to find the data, but it seems hard to find. I know that many hard tails with 100 mm forks and good ground clearence will be in the 31 - 32" Standover range for a 17.5" frame. Ask the shop where you intend to buy to verify the set up.

i have a 21" specialized with a 100mm fork and its about 32" standover. i would think that a 17.5" frame would be shorter than 32"...
