Default After market chain guards for triple rings

I just changed jobs and my cycling commute has shorten to just over 2 miles. I ride a hybrid with a XT drive train. I work in an office environment and need to where a business shirt, tie and dress pants. However, my ride is so short now that it's a pain to prepare pack and change clothes at work. I'm thinking of just cycling to work in my normal work clothes.

So does anyone know which manufacturer sells a chain guard for a triple chainring bike? Thanks for your help

Blackspire make some big ring protectors designed for extreme MTB use, but I guess they might fit the bill for you too.

It will be an expensive option, though.

If you don't care much about your crank (commuting isn't going to be stressful enough to make much of a difference) maybe you could use a low-end crank from a recreational MTB, that includes the plastic ring? (Or maybe take the plastic ring from one and put it on yours?)

Or, Plan C: tuck the bottom of your pants into your socks while riding, so they don't touch the drivetrain.

Take an old tube sock, cut off the toe, and slip it over your leg - do both legs for the heck of it!

I like the tube sock idea. However, thinking of using a material that doesn't soak up grease which would make washing it easier

You could try going to a camping/backpacking store and get some Gaiters. They're usually waterproof nylon and used to keep snow and rocks from getting inside your boots.

Why limit yourself to just the distance to work and back? Is two miles worth the effort? Why not find a route that will loop through some parks and make it six miles? I live 1 1/2 miles from the office. If the weather is bad I walk but, the idea is to spend time cycling each day so I ride six miles each way. That's the beauty of living close to work, options. See how many different routes you can come up with.
