Able to store bike hard case in Rome, Italy airport?
Can anyone tell me - is it possible to store one's bike case in the airport in Rome, Italy? Any additional information about cycling in Italy will be most appreciated.

It saved us tons - on headaches, but especially on renting a bigger car. You could always put your bike together in the airport and store the case. I've found in europe that in every train station, airport, and bus station there is a place for 'left luggage' that is safe, pretty cheap and well worth leaving the big stuff behind. biking in northern italy was amazing. the drivers are really courteous and give you a wide berth. we were on a tour for the giro with graham baxter sporting tours. it was pretty inexpensive ... we figured we would have paid double to do the same trip on our own. with rental cars, meals, etc. so good - we're going again in may!

For me - having someone else figure out where I was riding, where I was staying and where the next stop would be ... and transporting all my stuff - was PRICELESS. my friend and i had nothing to think about but having fun and eating good food. That's what I really like to do on a trip! If you have any specifics you want to know - feel free to ask.
