Default Buckled front wheel

G'day.

I just bought a Giant Cypress XL frame not long ago.

I've done about 1100KM on it so far, and the front wheel is already buckled.

Is this normal.. are there wheels out there that are less prone to buckling? How much?

You say you bought the frame so I guess you had the wheels already? If the wheels are new you might expect the spokes to loosen up a little in the first few hundred kilometers of riding. This is pretty normal. Get the wheels trued by an expert then get him to add a little bit of locktite to each nipple. That way the nipples won't work loose as quickly and your wheel should stay true for a few thousand kilometers.
