I am an aspiring Australian roadie who has saved up my money and decided to give full-time cycling a go. I have heard of people going over to race in Belgium, Italy etc on there own money, and eventually finding an amateur team to race with. Exactly how hard is it too find teams over in these countries, could someone who has done this please give me advice. I am more than willing to live of my own money, and am happy just to give it a go.
Any advice or help would be wonderful |

You don't have to belong to a team to ride the normal kermesses up to 130k's. All you need is to have a licence and show up and pay the entry fee. To get into a team is not to hard if you don't mind riding for a small team. there is another tread quite long about belgium and so somewhere on this board(I suggest look for it). If you want to know more e-mail me in about a week or 2 I will be back in belgium then.
