Angry Disk Brakes rubbing after every couple rides

I have an 04 North Face Denali w/ Hayes hxm1 disc brakes I have had it on the trail twice and the road once after the first and third rides I have a noticable rubbing 1st in the rear the next in the front I took it back to the dealer for the first time is somthing wrong is this normal( 1st time disc owner )I dont want to return to the dealer every couple rides where can I find the info on adjustments? Other then this I'm impressed so far with what I think was a pretty good bargin.any opinions appreciated.

Give the brakes a bit of time to bed in, and the cable time to stretch out; after a little while the brakes should be much better (and in less need of maintenance.)

After that, most rubbing or noises will come from the rotor having muck on it surface.

Thanks for the response as it is not too bad I feel very comfertable riding on so that is what I will do ( dirt road miles today) thanks again . I also got turned on to another web site by reading other threads here ( utah mountain biking . com ) they have a great fix it page.
