12 year old Dawes Watoga Disk Brake Upgrade

Hi Guys

I'm new to the forums and have a question.

I am currently using my old Dawes Watoga hardtail (see thumb nail pic) for off roading and I'm currently going through brake blocks every 1-2 months. I was wondering how much of a head ache it would be to upgrade to disk brakes. I know I would need new rims to house the rotor's but what about the caliper fitting to the frame & forks?

Knowledge needed.

hi there I also am riding a dawes the same as this one which i bought from a second place do you think its worth upgrading it or buy a new one?

I'm looking at replacing mine in the near future. She has been a good servant. Even looking at a dawes replacement but no decisions made yet.
