Yes he is, I talked to my friend Thomas today, he was there at Albula yesterday. he said Armstrong was suffering to catch up but he looked to be in good form. Of course he said that most of them were suffering. He thinks Armstrong has a good chance to win the race.
As far as Armstrong I can take him or leave him but YEA for us old guys.

A quote from my friend in Switzerland.

"talking about Cancellara: After the first couple of groups have passed the Albula, I walked towards my bike, when a racer stopped right next to me and started to put his rainjacket on, without hurry: It was Cancellara who had clicked of the front group at the beg. of the pass and took it easy. He lost 20 minutes but I guess it did not matter anymore. He had time to say "ciao" to me when he left"!

Nice note from La Punt stage, JH. If your friend Jan has ridden the stage it would have been even more interesting.
Now, I'm waiting Sunday. That TT, even though mid-length one, should be another indicator.
Tour candidates (mostly) have shown their cards. But there are some who didn't... Or couldn't.
TT may give us the answer.

Agreed on the more interesting and the TT will tell us something today but the TDF is a different race, three weeks long and Contador is not racing the Tour De Suisse.
