What's the significance of having low TG (35) and high total
cholesterol and LDL cholesterol? I always thought high TG, high LDL
and high TC usually went together... I find it surprising that my TG
    is so low..

    Thanks.

Sounds like you may have very little adipose tissue plus fasted more than
12 hrs before the blood test.

  3. Daune,

Low TG is good! Your chol is a little too high, and your HDL too low.
Has doc recommended chol medicine? Low fat diets are longer as much
in favor. Adding good fats to your diet (olive oil, fat from nuts)
may raise your HDL - but don't at the same time eat more calories.
For the new "skinny" on fats see the Harvard site
