Small hole in the rear left dropout trek emonda

Hello all! Question. Cleaning my bike this weekend I Noticed this small hole in the rear left dropout (non Drive side) of my Trek Emonda SL6. It looks very neat as if it’s intended to be here, but I’m not positive and would like some clarification as to wether or not it’s intended to be present or is my frame damaged? Really prefer someone to verify that their Trek Emonda has this same hole. Thanks in advance for the help!
