Better video with a GoPro camera, cycling in an urban area, max speed is maybe 45-46 kph here and this was 2 days ago at -2 celsius outside.
There are other high res clips up on my channel now.
Unfortunately this 60 fps video was has the framerate reduced when uploaded to YouTube.

All those bikes outside your workplace or school, and not a lock in sight. And Jyväskylä is a fairly large city. My wife has family in and around Alajärvi. I've done some riding over there. I can ride on a road with an 80 kph speed limit and feel perfectly safe. Nice shoulders in decent condition, and the drivers seem to give you room. A few more hills would be nice, though. :big-smile:

My best clip from yesterday's ride.. that slow moving truck and front end loader moving towards me sucker me onto the road, it's about 1 C and, well you can see the weather conditions from the video. Bike is a MTB modified with a long stem and 700x35 tyres at 4.5 bar, weight is 17 kg or so.. there's a decent hill at the beginning of the clip. This is a high-res GoPro video. Max speed is 48-49 kph on a straight flat and I'm sitting on the brakes going down the hill as that truck goes over the speed bumps.

I think I'm just going to take it easy now since exceeding the speed limit on somewhat slushy roads on a bicycle is a bit risky.
