Default Cycling in the French Alps

Hi all,

Just wanted to say a hello and let you know I run a site that's been online since 1999, that gives help and advice to people coming to the French Alps.

www.grenoblecycling.com

I'm a Brit who's been in Grenoble, I work for HP, and look after the site in my free time. I was looking for a site like this when I came to live in France, and when I couldn't find one, I created the Grenoble Cycling Pages.

I've added photos and details of the mountains, photos from the big races and links to events.

If you ever make it to the Alps, let me know.

Cheers, Russell

Closest airports are Lyon and Grenoble for climbs like Alpe d'Huez and the Col du Galibier. There are also regular buses that let you take bikes, which allows you to get into the mountains, without the hassle of the busy valley roads.

Geneva will give you access to the northern French Alps.

Cheers, Russell
