bl**dy proxys and firewalls

I've just logged on from home and found I've been talking to
myself all day! I discovered last week that I can't post to
extermnl ngs from work. Today I found I could. Now I've just
found I can't. Well, I can, is just that you can't see it. I
thought I as being ignored.

Anyway, I was appologisung for behaving like a newbie among
other things. Ho hum.
