I own a travel iron, and I use it too! My mum was *most* impressed when she heard I'd bought one
(yes, I actually parted with my own money). She was, mind you, less impressed when I suggested she
didn't try it herself as it was probably coated in ski wax, since I use it to prep my bases while in
foreign hotel rooms...

Once it's folded, and I won't add to the shirt-folding advice that's already appeared, pop it into
one of those flat zip-up "Shirt-saver" bags you'll find next to the money belts and inflatable
pillows on those rotating stands in travel shops. Been using one for years.

Jiffy bags are cheaper.
