Question skin tight body clothing

I am wondering, do cyclists look nice in these types of products?

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/v2_product_d...dID=5360007342

I am very much self concious of what I am wearing and I want to know if other cyclists would appreciate what I am wearing if I wear that...

PS are there any special bandages we can wear around our knees to keep them warm?

Oh my god the paving slabs will be flying soon!

Who cares what you look like, if your warmand dry that's all that matters, drivers and pedestrians NEVER see cyclists coming anyway.

I remember my first time in lycra, yes you think everyman and his dog is looking at you, but trust me after the first ride in "proper" cycling kit you'll wonder how your bits managed before, now it dosn't trouble me one bit, bloody hell I even shave my legs now, so go on try it you wont look back,
and if you still need extra warmth for your knees try neoprene knee supports they work a treat

Hey, I used to be really worried about the skin tight stuff, but you soon get really sick of sweaty, wet, flappy old clothes when riding. You have to look good, or at least think you look good when out killing the miles and building the fitness. Let's agree, you don't do down shopping in the high street in your lycra shorts and bright polyester jersey. But the skin tight gear is so much better when on the bike than the alternative! Oh, by the way, the girls look so much better in it than the guys!!!

Go for it!

With Regards to your Ps. many companies make "knee warmers" Lusso amongst them. Look at

http://www.primera-bournemouth.co.uk...Clothing&ID=62

for an example. All the best

Some do, some don't. But they are always functional.

Yes, they are called "knee warmers" (see Google).

Rather depends on the body you put in it. I'd look like a sack of potatoes.

Not if you want to look nice. I have no self conciousness about the way I dress for cycling. I don't
care what I look like as long as I'm comfortable. That's why my wife won't come with me.

Who cares? They're very comfortable, which is what matters.

Simon, who wears bib tights and is not the least afraid of the PSF.

My bib tights are the most useful items of cycling clothing I've ever bought. You can get ones that
come higher around the chest and back than those shown on Wiggle. They're even warmer.

Do your really want other cyclists to "appreciate" what you're wearing?

If you wear a base layer and jacket with them and, I don't think you'll get a second look.

On the other hand, if you're thinking about wearing them with nothing else...

Skintight body clothing is best suited to nubile young women, I can't continue this, must finish
putting this Catrike together so I can chase some women.

I have a pair of these Endura Thermastat Bibs and you probably won't need knee warmers with them
till it becomes exrtremely cold, they have been too warm for me sometimes when it's been snowing!

At the risk of encouraging you to mention Catrikes at every possible opportunity, I was wondering
how you pronounce the name. Is it Cat-rike, See-Ay-Trike, Ker-Trike, or some other variant?
