Default digital cameras: recommended batts & charger

I'm hoping that my digital camera will arrive in the post soon, so I'm looking to get some decent
rechargeable batteries and a charger.

I currently have 2 "Uniross CXH2" chargers and 8 x 1300mAh NiMHs, but I'm looking for something with
a bit more capacity / more intelligent charger.

Any recommendations?

cheers

Go To Jessops - can't go far wrong there. They do sell their own make with a charger that can plug
into the car fag lighter - this is very worthwhile I think

I've seen: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/id=42555379&ssPageName=L2 recommended, though I've not used them
myself. They do 2300mAh NiMHs with a 2hr charger for 25.99. Also, 4 2350mAh cells for 6.05.

2300Mah are now available. Try www.7dayshop.com for good prices and great service :-) They also do
memory cards. Mike.

I use an Ansmann charger which is fast and intelligent for each battery location (but only 4 x
batts). Also has a "discharge then charge" to keep batts in good condition. Also have a Uniross
timed charger which I use occasionally; as a backup when I need lots of recharging done (I then make
sure I cycle those batts in the Ansmann the next time around)

Ansmann portable charger. Intelligent so you can leave your batteries in it as long as you like.
Also has discharge cycle as all the best chargers should have.

Batteries at www.7dayshop.com but don't hold your breath for delivery.

I use 7dayshop quite a lot and have never had *less* than a fortnight's delivery. And lest you think
it's my location to blame it's rare not to get 1st class post from anywhere in the UK more than 1
day later.

I use 7dayshop and delivery time to Grantown-on-Spey is usually around 5 days. I've never waited
longer than a week without being notified an item was out of stock. Next day delivery has occurred
very occasionally.

I got this from powerstores. Very happy with their service :-) Mike.

Same people as above! They seem a bit cheaper than 7daystores.
