I'm hoping that my digital camera will arrive in the post soon, so I'm looking to get some decent rechargeable batteries and a charger. I currently have 2 "Uniross CXH2" chargers and 8 x 1300mAh NiMHs, but I'm looking for something with a bit more capacity / more intelligent charger. Any recommendations? cheers -- Brian |

Go To Jessops - can't go far wrong there. They do sell their own make with a charger that can plug into the car fag lighter - this is very worthwhile I think -- Fantastic Self Catering Accommodation in the mountains of Andalucia. I use an Ansmann charger which is fast and intelligent for each battery location (but only 4 x batts). Also has a "discharge then charge" to keep batts in good condition. Also have a Uniross timed charger which I use occasionally; as a backup when I need lots of recharging done (I then make sure I cycle those batts in the Ansmann the next time around) |

You had a bad experience ? Mike. I use 7dayshop quite a lot and have never had *less* than a fortnight's delivery. And lest you think it's my location to blame it's rare not to get 1st class post from anywhere in the UK more than 1 day later. Bernard Hill Selkirk, Scotland |
