WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush has indicated in interviews secretly taped by a friend before he became president that he used marijuana but would not admit it for fear of setting a bad example for children... This is his answer to the question...doesnt give much away, does he? "I wouldn't answer the marijuana question. You know why? Because I don't want some little kid doing what I tried," Bush purportedly says on the tape. okay Bush...i wont try what you tried... full story here http://uk.news.yahoo.com/050221/80/fcw1x.html....what a larf. |

Well, well, well. The Evangelist smoked the ganja ! Remember the flurry of righteous indignation when Clinton spilt himself on that dress ? And how Kenneth Starr and the anal retentives were going on about a morally decadent President ? Wonder do the religious right have a view about alcos and dopeurs ? I recall that tub of ****e Jerry Falwell saying that "those democrats are nuthin' but dope smokin' liberals" Wonder what Falwell's attitude would be to dopeur Bush ? |

Peter himself denied Jesus THREE TIMES. Saul was a known Christian persecuter before being struck on the road to Damascus and changing to Paul. The First George grew the plant on his plantation. And chopped down a cherry tree in his youth. But still went on to be a great leader. It wasn't the fact that Clinton did it in the Whithouse but that he lied about it..."I did NOT have sexual realtions with that woman, Ms. Lewinski". And that lie was used to cover his tracks in the Paula Jones trial so it was perjury. Little details. |

The man is an alcoholic...dope is probably not going to do any more damage to that brain... my laughing point was the fact that Bush refrained from answering the question of whether he did or did not smoke dope and then said 'what i tried'... |

I don't trust Bush because the evidence says I shouldn't, and neither should you. Drinking and Drug abuse are indicators of deeper problems that cannot be overcome by being 'reborn' or whatever media nonsense is being used to cover up Bush's problems. This abuse, no matter how brief it may have been for him (and it wasn't brief at all, in fact it is alleged that his alcohol abuse continues), causes damage to his mental abilities and enhances the basic personal traits that led to the abuse. You'd know this if you had been around anyone with the problem. Such people are unreliable at best, are rarely to be trusted with responsibility, and have poor judgement. This will stay with him until the day he dies...I don't care how long it's been since he's had a drink, he's still a 'drunk', and always will be. You can't get free from it. Thank God that Bush isn't the one really pulling the strings, or we'd have a real problem on our hands. |

It was probably a quick puff at college...nothing unusual about that (especially in the upper class circles).. anyway do you remember the William Hague revelations about 30 pints a day when he was 18...just a pointless attempt to be 'trendy'... |

No references this time round, to Moses ? (remember the old deny Israel is tantamount to denying Moses reference you made earlier). Don't think the New Testament applies to your lot. |
