22 year old guy wanting to have sex with 16 year old girl

Hey. Long time reader, first time poster.

I found this in a fitness forum.

A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? What would you do if your daughter was in this situation?

thats horrible, I'm not saying its all his fault, she shouldn't be hitting on a 22 year old perv. but a guy like that should be locked up for a while, and the girl should talk to her parents, or the parents talk to her.

Without knowing more about the two you cannot say. The guy might be a perv, but the girl may have been screwing boys since she was twelve. The world is ****ed up these days. A lot of the traditional mores of the past are hard to apply to the present. Since the age difference is not too huge, I guess I don't have much of an opinion about this.

Just say they stay together for the next three years, she would be 19 and he would be 25 - would it be a problem then - I don't think so.

You are allowed to "do it" when your 16, and let's face it 22 isn't very old either.

People. It's the internet, so you have to automatically figure the guy's like 38 or something and the girl is probably 13. Or the "girl" is a cop.

(I think 16 is still considered "under age" in the US.)

Fromt these posts, however, I think we can safely assume now that Bro Deal is the guy and janie is the girl.

seriously, let us remeber the time honored gentlemen-about-town rule, keep your amorous relations to half your age plus seven. note this allows gents to escort younger women as age is aquired. seems like the bloke in question lost sight of the legalities involved with consorting with minors, big consequences can come of this, including legalities including statutory rape and sex offender registry status to name just a couple.
