    ATB accident - Information needed

You've got the right spot there Craig. I don't recall any hats or obstacles in the area, and it was just over the crest of the bridge, so speed or that hard right corner at the bottom were'nt factors either. If it was a collision with someone or something isn't too bad, his main worry is...

How do I fit my speedo, HR monitor and light on the handlebar.

I did a bit more digging and after most bike shops told me they weren't made, I tracked down and provided my LBS with a product number for a headstem Cateye mount. Cateye do have a range of headstem mounts available and everything fits nice and neatly now. The mount I purchased was for the...

How do I fit my speedo, HR monitor and light on the handlebar.

I have just picked up my HR monitor bracket and it's getting very congested on my handlebar. Can anyone recommend any adapters or options to help fit all this gear onto my road bike? I need to fit HR monitor, Speedo and Light. Currently all this gear is on the bar and there's not much room for...

    Trek 1400 or Giant OCR1

Hi Garry, I bought a Trek 1400 in dec 2003 and have loved every minute on the bike. I ride between 50-200 k p/week (in all weather) and I have never had any problems with the bike. I haven't had any experience with Giant Bikes. Good Luck. Brad.

I'm looking to replace my road bike seat and am wondering what will be more comfortable that my current brick. I'd love to know what seats are popular with the road riders.

New Helmet purchase - any recommendations

I've had a bee go down my jersey and it stung me under the arm. A sting on the head could be a bit rough.

    Advice on new helmet purchase.

I agree wassupdawg, how hard would it be to make the top panel interchangeable. At the moment you need to buy a helmet that will be OK with various outfits. Surely there would be a stack of aftermarket $$$ for the add on panels.

New Helmet purchase - any recommendations

I just found out that the MET Ippogrifo also comes in my football team colours. I think this helmet is selling itself. Suppose I'll still try it on first though.

    Advice on new helmet purchase.

I'm looking at buying a new helmet (road riding), possibly the Met Ippogriffo and was wondering if anyone has any feedback or recommendations. Currently my decision is based on appearance of the helmet, and this probably isn't the best way to base a decision on something will will be on my...

Cycling related injury. Does anyone know a good doctor.

A Good Doctor being an Oxymoron???? Let's see, I went to a Doctor, I left happy with the consultation, I'm still riding. = A good Doctor in my book.

    Red means STOP Fitzroy boy!

Great call Hippy. All riders expect courtesy from drivers, yet so many of us forget that there are rules for us too. It's these riders that give us all a bad image.

Cycling related injury. Does anyone know a good doctor.

Hi guys, Thanks for your help. I went to the Olympic park Sports Medicine centre last night and they were excellent. Looks like John Doe and I will hear each other on the streets, as mine knee is OK...just noisy. At least I can ride.
