    Transfer WKO license

So, let me get this straight 3rensho. You would rather have "Free" software that's not as robust as one that is relatively inexpensive(hell, I couldn't fill up my car this summer for less $100 in gas), doesn't have any support (GC guys most times don't reply, don't know solutions for weeks at a...

    Ergomo Validity shot down....

Reminder: The Powertap should always measure under the SRM and ergomo because of drive train loss. 7-10 watts is the usual amount from what I have read. So, if PT is reading 250 watts, then SRM should be reading about 257-260watts. 6% of 260watts is 15 watts, so we are talking about 5 watts...

    Ergomo Validity shot down....

Don't know if anyone saw this, but something that I have suspected all along. Someone posted it on the wattage forum. Bad news for all you ergomo owners out there..... Ergomo News (firmware + software)

Doesn't do much. Shows a graph and some lines. A pretty feeble attempt at software, don't know why they even attempted it. Doesn't even hold a candle to CyclingPeaks WKO+, but that was expected..... I did see TSS/NP/IF in there. I am guessing they licensed that from CyclingPeaks guys, or hope...

    Online Power Training plans ?

20 min * .95 for me. That was 280. I do have ERG+, and have built some files, so maybe that's the way to go. I think based on the advice here, I'll get the higher one, give it a try and then if there are workouts I can't complete, then I'll scale them. Thanks for all the great responses...

    Online Power Training plans ?

Hey all, I am considering one of Hunter Allen's plans on Trainingpeaks.com and my threshold is 280watts. He has plans for 270 and 290. Should I go to the higher one? I just did my test for FTP, and I was dead on 280. Any thoughts? Thanks. Bob

Announcing Version 2.1 WKO+ with Performance Manager!

For sure! For a piece of software so inexpensive, and the fact that both Hunter and Andy post here, and they have good support, it's truly refreshing to know a company that really takes care of their customers. As far as I am concerned, I'll buy whatever those guys make, they have such great...

Live and downloaded Power files from Tour

On www.cyclingpeakssoftware.com Each day, they have the live data during the race and also Hunter Allen, power guru, is doing a daily analysis of Christian Vandevelde's files. Pretty amazing files. Looks like he's in better shape than maybe thought. Could be very good tour for him. You...

TSS and IF "live" on Power meter: any use to me?

I will stick up for seeing TSS/IF and NP 'live'. I live in a hilly area, so seeing live NP really helps me to know what my body is truly feeling over my loops. My coach uses TSS to help make my training plan and each training plan comes with a 'predicted' or 'goal' TSS for the workout. So...

Powertap Software for Mac Now Available

See, that's the problem. While I don't know the guys at CyclingPeaks, but I'll bet that's why they haven't built MAC compatible software. $30-40 for software would likely mean they would need to sell in the range of 5000 copies to break even on a port of their Win app to a Mac app. My...
