Silence-Loto has sended conflicting information about Evans. First I received a press release that said Evans would start, 2 days later that he would not start. I guess thats why a lot of media reported he would start.

Pete how are the reactions in Italy. Here at the tour everybody (from mechanics, to riders, to management) from Liquigas and Lampre are really angry with Riccò. (and with the others, including Beltran) I don't mean pr angry, but really angry in personal conversations.

the rumour came originally from German Eurosport (it was Schumacher) , AFLD said Schumacher did not test positive. Eurosport removed the report from their website.

I am at the tour right now. the state prosecuter said this evening that Riccò stays under arrest. He will have to appear before court on Friday morning, the judge will decide if riccò will be released or not.

I don't think he needs to out tt Riccò anymore... He will probebly win because certain decision makers want him to win. Upps did I really say that?:eek:

I heard from several people it was very nice as Jan was pretty relaxed. DL: Great race but I don't think Valverde is the one who will win that other French race (its pretty well known, goes on for 3 weeks)..

Actually I planned to go (tds) but I have to programme a new databank for tdf pictures for an US client and as my colleague can't programme and lives in Suisse anyway he will do Suisse completly now.
