    Ride Magazine review

You should test ride it and make up your own mind. I tried it and didn't like it, I also tried Giant TCR, Specialized Tarmac, Scott CR1. I ended up buying one of those. Test then buy what you fall in love with.

    Ride Magazine review

Now you are talkin'. If comfort is what you want, Specialized Roubaix w/ shimano 105 is discounted to about $2000 now, but geometry is still very racy. Giant's are well priced, being the world largest bike maker, check the OCR line up. Also, you need to know what size bike you need, DO NOT...

    Ride Magazine review

NO. Because a bike flexes 0.2mm less than another does not mean it a better bike. I'll pass on the Cadent

    Ride Magazine review

RIDE do awesome bike reviews, they are always on the money. Their rigorous testing methods are exemplary. I would not touch this Cadent model.

    Just collected my CR1

You are correct Ride2work. It is used by mainly mountain bikers these days but is essential if your bike does not have a replacable hanger.

Cronulla International Grand Prix & Cadel on SBS

Did anyone get down to watch? I only watched it on TV but it It was the absolute cream of Australian cycling. It was a awesome win by the retiring Matt White (former DCS) but I think he was the protected rider out there, the other pro riders used all their energy creating the breakaway from...

    Just collected my CR1

Derailler bolt was bought on Ebay Shop Toronto Cycle (they have a website as well) Item #170122322956. There are two types a hollow one (6g) and a solid one (30g), I bought both but used the hollow one because I think it would break better! There are also aluminium and titanium types. I took...

    Just collected my CR1

First ride....awesome. The ride is not too stiff as others have said, the carbon frame does a great job in absorbing road buzz. The ride is a bit more upright than I am used to but is better for my neck. The 10 speed 105 groupset is awesome, I came from ultegra 9 speed and thought I was going...

Cool, can't wait to ride it. The only criticism of the bike is that it's too stiff, what is your opinion of the ride parawolf?

Just collected first carbon road bike. I'm putting all my bits on and will go for my first ride on Sat. I got fitted and it is exactly what I had expected, my last bike (57 top tube) was too big, the Scott is a 54 and feels better on the trainer. FYI my other choices were, Colnago CLX and...

    Single speed hubs?

I'm also converting an old 80's MBK with Campy C Record groupset. I am doing it on the cheap. I found this from a google search http://scoplaw.blogs.com/scoplaw/2004/04/how_to_make_a_f.html I have an old wheelset I will try it on ... when I get time.

    mmm...Giant or Scott, opinions please

The Scott CR1 Team is ordered and coming later this week. I will write a review after everything is adjusted and do my first big century ride. Wheels are an issue though, I have never had Mavics but the 1.9kg Aksium's are a little on the fat side. I'm thinking of American Classic Hurricane or...

Trying to decide between Scott and Specialized...first time buyer.

Specialized felt like it would absorb alot of road buzz, too much for my liking, I still like the stiffness of a aluminium bike. It's personal preference, I just don't like the way the Specialized rode. Anyway, I got measured up today and will go in for a final fit on Thu for my CR1. I hope...
