    Campy Record ergo failure

The myth about Campy being long lasting is dead. Servicing a Campy lever is worse than going to have the BMW serviced.

    The secret of Trek's OCLV technology . . .

Man, Trek didn't even invent that stuff. Carbon lugs were used ong before Trek. So what? Trek's got that internal lug thing that makes it look like its not even a lug at all. Other bike companies have done that. Trek's not the first. They may be the first to beat their chests and say that...

I don't make this stuff up you know.

I don't know if that is true or not. Its not like they hold records on who's the first at that stuff. Sounds reasonable and plausible enough though so I think you've proven yourself on this one.

    Campy or Shimano?

 Shimano was the first to introduce 8 and then 9 speed drivetrains, not Campagnolo! Shimano has been the industry leader in new technology. "Nothing against Campagnolo, but Shimano is to be credited with revolutionizing bicycle componentry over the last 20 years. From lightweight...

    Campy or Shimano?

CyclingNews.com has its own photographers, writers, etc. It is a professional journal of cycling. Campyonly is biased and lacks the objectivity to be a professional source of information, and we see now why Dennis Dee gets his breakfast there with lokstah's lips firmly entrenched on his ass.

2004 Campy Chorus vs. 2003 Campy Record

Dude! Give it up. You just said on p.1 of this thread that Record was so smooth and just jizzy all over it and how "Anything spinning..........rotating........... you want Record, trust me... its worth the extra $100 .. or so.", now after the bearings were pointed out to you to be the exact...

2004 Campy Chorus vs. 2003 Campy Record

You're the one that just knows that Record **** is soooo much smoother spinning than Chorus, so why don't you tell us what the difference is with the Record races as compared to the Chorus?

    Swapping Rim: HELP!

So, if you want the valve hole between two near parallel spokes, why don't you just do this... Find on the old rim where the valve hole is between two parallel spokes and not the offset in the rim. Then, on the new rim rotate it such that the high/low offset matches the two parallel spokes...

    Spoke tension, non drive side.

Jobst Brandt's book states that spoke holes that are staggered from the center line of the rim are offset. The post was referring to how the non-drive side spokes were tensioned comparitatively to the drive-side.
