    could you arm wrestle lance?

looking at all the advice about weight training etc. i was wondwering how strong the top pro's are. so as a fairly strong and fit bloke. do a bit of boxing etc, could i have a go at arm wrestling lance, as he's all endurance fit? or as an international top athelete would he whip me? this is...

    hybrid bike for a beginner

i ride a speicialized sirrus and love it. mine was £300 (about $530). so it's pretty cheap as well. mine gets lots of use. i commute on it. ride fairly rough trails. go out on the road and have even done some touring. all round a good bike. hope this helps.

    What's a cycling dork?

i said before on a similar thread. look around people, we're all reading and posting on cycling forum, that's as dorky as it gets :) my dorkiest things: 1.the shorts with vest attached (just because they were the best shorts honest!). looks a bit S&M, and doesn't leave much to the imagination...

    Bicycle Evolution

i've always thought this. i can just about see the shape of the cog, but can't fully get my head around the engineering. if all the gear was light enough, it could be done by the pedals just fueling a battery and the wheels being turned by a motor, think it would take all the fun/control away...

ahh, the crusher, a deadly move for sure. it's splitting the world of paper, stone, scissors. i am all for innovation.

Where are you from, what do you do?

i wish i'd known. i rule at rock, paper, scissors! i have this possibly illegal move where you can unfold a rock into paper at the last second. highly effective. ;)

I drive my car like my bike...

i've got a stationary car set up at the gym. i just go and sit in it and make hand gestures at other gym users. did 50k in my stationary car today. was a breeze. sat back and watched mtv. nice. try and similate road conditions by ploughing into the spinning class (i just didn't see them) :)

    Pain in the... coccyx

i would, as always, consider covering the seat and yourself in duct tape, if it doesn't sort out the problem, at least you'll look good ;)

    Are you a Cycling Dork?

CYCLING FASHION FAUX PAS No.1 it's got to be a big pointy white helmet, teamed up with a not very aerodynamic big white gown. attaching a burning cross to your headset instead of hallogen lights would finish off this faux pas. i hear this is what they where in some areas of canada.

    Are you a Cycling Dork?

you should try visiting britain, it's one long double entendre (spelling!?!). our hilarious toilet humour is world famous. we never do any work as we're too busy laughing at rude jokes. it's the truth.

    Are you a Cycling Dork?

officially a ride involves lycra clothing otherwise it's just pretend. it's not really the length*, it's how tight your shorts are *of ride, obviously

    Are you a Cycling Dork?

it does sound a bit rubbish doesn't it. i only do it when i am injured and the weathers horrible, honest. on a plus point i hear that having no body hair is the only way to be taken seriously when out cycling these days.

    Are you a Cycling Dork?

just got back from a lousy spinning . it was more like a dance class, up down back front smile etc. everybody say yoh! i looked good though in silver duct tape body suit (boy it's going to hurt when i take it off, yikes) prefer it when they just say 'sprint like you being chased by racist...
