it about cooking outdoors in general (if you enjoy it) you love or
enjoy the most ?Wake up, get the campfire started, put bacon in a skillet on the fire.
Walk down to the stream, catch some trout, throw back those too big for
the skillet, clean the rest. Walk back to camp, season and flour the
trout, fry them in the bacon grease. With camp coffee, the best
breakfast in the world. It's not just that trout and bacon go together
so well, of course, it's the clean air, the wood smoke, and the beauty
of the setting.-aem

My favorite dishes to cook out doors are any kind of meat, and fish on
the grill is the BEST. I Like to do veggies on the grill too, I usually
use a bit of olive oil or Pam on them and put them right on the grill,
if they are very small I use a grill basket.I usually have an audience as the neighborhood dogs and sometimes cats
are there to watch and wait, hoping that I will have a moment of idiocy
and toss them some.Didn't Michael have a dog that grabbed something and ran ?? I remember
a story about that. All the grill talk is making me hungry, and it isn't breakfast time yet

If most people cook it in an oven, I'll cook it in my outdoor cooker.
If most people pan fry it, I'll probably grill it.
Baked is still baked, I just use a charcoal with less smoke.BOB

Some dogs can be faster than they look. I remember a party almost 40
years ago of the Marbelhead 505 fleet. We were newcomers, and were
invited to help ourselves to beer in therefridgerator door. There was a big black dog sleeping under the kitchen table. When I
opened the fridg door, the dog leapt, grabbed a can of beer from the
door, crunched it on the kitchen floor and lapped it up. . . Roar of
laughter from the living room, where the regulars knew this would
happen.I have no shaggy dog stories, but more than one big black dog stories.
I don't know why.Rodney Myrvaagnes J36 Gjo/a

eat it in or outdoors depending on weather.Regards,

Too many dishes to list...favorite grilled items include steaks,
chicken kabobs (chicken marinated in lime juice, oil, lots of garlic,
s/p, and red pepper flakes), salmon (marinated in lemon juice, oil,
soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and green onion), marinated veggies,
burgers, pork tenderloin (very favorite way is to stuff it with a
mixture of chopped proscuitto and provolone--from Ed Pawlowski, I
think)...Ooooh! One of our priests makes a grilled salmon that is to die for!
I need to get the recipe. I could eat it for days.Regards,

think...--
