Dairy peptides significantly decrease blood pressure

New blood pressure drugs cut death risk

TREATMENT guidelines for Australians with high blood pressure may need
to be rewritten in line with the results of an international trial,
specialists say.

The study found patients taking a combination of two newer blood
pressure lowering drugs were almost 25 per cent less likely to die from
heart attack or stroke than those on an older, alternative treatment.

Investigators recruited more than 19,000 patients with high blood
pressure and three other risk factors for cardiovascular disease to
take part in the randomised controlled trial.

Half of the 40 to 79-year-old participants were treated with
perindopril and amlodipine sold as Coversyl and Norvasc in Australia
and the remainder received the beta-blocker atenolol and the diuretic,
bendroflumethiazide.

After five years, the researchers found those on Coversyl and Norvasc
were not only less likely to die from heart attack or stroke but had a
30 per cent reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

Control Blood Pressure
How is your blood pressure? Do you know what you can do to help keep
your blood pressure in the "normal" range?

Hypertension affects approximately one-quarter of adult Americans with
another one-quarter having prehypertension, or blood pressure in the
zone between normal and high.

Keep your blood pressure normal, or lower it, by making some lifestyle
changes.

Participate in regular physical activity: at least 30 minutes a day on
most days of the week.

Consume moderate amounts of alcohol.

Limit sodium intake to no more than 2,400 milligrams a day.

Maintain a normal body weight.

Adopt the Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension, or "DASH," eating
plan.
The DASH eating plan calls for consuming eight to 10 servings of fruits
and vegetables, three servings of dairy foods, limited animal fat
intake and increased intake of plant proteins every day. Make the
switch to the DASH eating plan by slowing making manageable, lifestyle
changes.

Why does the DASH plan recommend three servings of dairy foods, when
dairy foods are obviously completely unnatural? It would be bad enough
if human adults consumed HUMAN milk after they were a few years old,
but to consume the milk of another animal is even more unnatural.
Dairy peptides are just another way for the dairy industry to make out
their totally unnatural product is 'healthy'.

When was the last time you saw a grown human being sucking milk from a
cow's udders? If you ever saw such a grotesque sight, did you consider
it natural?

The Internet is also unnatural and you appear to be using it. How
come?
