Looking for opinions… I want a 5-6 bike hitch rack for family MTB’ing. Narrowed it down to vertical racks.
Looking on thoughts on
- Fork/Crown Mount (e.gYakima hangover)
- Handlebar mount (e.g Woof Rax)
- wheel basket (e.g. Alta Racks)
I know there are variants of each type, but the opinion I’m looking for: is it better to hang from fork/crown, handle bars, or wheel. This guy (
) makes an interesting point on weight distribution.
Interested to see what folks think and as an added bonus what model you might recommend of each type.
