slow connections

Hi to Admin. I have not been into the site of late but I have had very slow connections on two or three occasions in the last half hour or so. Is it likely that there is an issue with the site servers ? My PC is otherwise OK and I am getting 52mbps being on BT SuperFast Broadband.
