  1. My first and current road bike is a '05 Trek 2100, Aluminum frame/Carbon Stays. Great choice at the time but looking to drop some more serious money on a more serious frame.

I got a PowerTap & my best 10s power is just under 1300w. bw162lbs. My FT sucks so I'm definitely a sprinter type.

Wether I do any racing or not, sprinting is a blast and I want a stiff frame that I can ride 60 miles without getting too beat up.

My LBS is insisting a TIME over Colnago. But I don't know where to look for imperical comparisons.
BMC & Pinarello (Lust!) seem to have some good options too.
(And yes, I will absolutely ride each of the final selections)

btw, I'm shopping in the $4-6k range for the whole build less wheels (already covered).

    Any (polite) ideas/suggestions are welcome!
    Thanks,
    Dav

  2. I am a sprinter and I ride an Orbea Orca.

Stiffest thing I have ridden to date.

Pinarello's are flippin' sweet I will add.

  3. If you want a stiff BMC, you buy an 05 SL01 with the boxier chainstays. If you want a balanced performance, get an Orca, if you want a comfortable race frame, get an SLC01.

Pinarellos are overrated. I'd get a Time before a Colnago.

  4. Thanks for the suggestions! (Any additional are welcome too😄)
