'06 TdF...lets hear the predictions!

    So, who do you guys think will take this year's Tour de France? It will undoubtedly be the most exciting TdF in a while with lance gone...more attacks!!! Although I'd like to see Ullrich do well, I just don't think he will...weight gain + lack of accelerations = iffy? I think Basso is going to be the man to beat, but I think Vinokurov might have some suprises.

    There's a Giro going on matey. We'll predict who'll win the tour after the Giro! (Well, I will anyway).

    Yep, wait until the Giro is over before you even start thinking about the TdF again.

    One comment is that Vino is strong and willful but historically inconsistent.
    Consistency wins a mulit stage race.

    Yes. Let us discuss the TdF when the time comes. And then discuss the Vuelta...

    What a concept! Moving beyond framing everything around the Tour...
