If anyone remembers me I was going to buy the 1000. But I have been riding in the drop bars more often & decided that i would also like to change gears from that position as well. So the next option in line is the 07 Trek 1500. But it only has a double crank set, which i would rather prefer a tripple. & then i looked up some more & found the 08 Trek 2.1 tripple for $500 more... should i save up, or save my money? i really feel torn.

WELL!... it seems like i'm not buying either of these bikes.... I called up my lbs to see if they had any 07 2100's... Nope, but what they did have was an 06 pilot 2.1... its also knocked down $150 cuz its got a small dent in the top tube, but the said trek will replace it if it ever fails or breaks...sooo i'm right in the middle of my two previouse choices money wise, & since the head tube is higher, its a more comfortable riding position... oh yea... it matches my helmet too ;) lol & comes w/ shamino 505 clipless pedals
