1-1/8" headset replacement q?

Last time I checked,you cannot replace an integrated HS with a traditional one like the Record.

I believe that the Campy Record Hiddensets require a 42mm ID while the Cane Creek (IS2/IS6) take a 41mm.

Campy has a pretty good diagram for the milling requirements at:

Can't find good specs for the Cane Creek milling.
Don't know if the steerer headtube could be safely milled to the proper diameter and taper. In any event not something I would attempt myself (let alone finding and buying the cutting tools for a one off).

Correcto...Campy 42mm...A zero stack Cane Creek 11/8" zero stack uses 44.0 cups and the integrated require a 41.0 headtube with the bearings pressed directly in.

I will abandon this project and just use the supplied Cane Creek headset.
