Im wondering if this is going to be the next trend in cycling. or just a flash in the pan. So far ive seen this in the new Cannondale system 6. the Trek madone, and principia has it on all/most of their new road bikes.
Seems like it offers designers some new tricks. or at least gives the marketing department something to write about. love to here what you guys have to say.
btw Principia uses a 1 1/4 and 1 11/8 combination.
Add to that list the ridleys. It is hideous in my opinion and I'm not really sure if the benefits are worth having a fugly bike but it seems to be the next wave of bollocks to hit the industry.
It seems we can't ever have a standard for very long. Only 7 years ago we were still riding 1 inch quills.
I will stop now before i get too worked up...
