Hi all,

I did some research for entry-mid level carbon framed bikes that are in the $1,500-$2,000 price range. The bikes in this price range usually come with Shimano 105/Ultegra groups, or Campagnolo Veloce components.

Since the components are pretty much the same for all of these bikes, I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions about the frame, smoothness, stiffness, ride quality, saddles, etc. for the following bikes. Since this is a very popular price range for a lot of recreational bike riders, I thought this would be a nice thread for a lot of people to get something out of.

Of course there are some specific models and brands that I left out on purpose based on my preference, but if you can think of any other bike that is in this price range and has a carbon frame, please don't hesitate to include it in this list and share your thoughts with all of us.

1. Felt F5c: $1,999 MSRP (Shimano 105/Ultegra)
2. Bianchi San Mateo: $1,699 MSRP (Campagnolo Veloce)
3. Bianchi Giro: $1,599 MSRP (Shimano 105)
4. Orbea Marmolada: $1,899 MSRP (Campagnolo Veloce)
5. Orbea Mitis: $1,899 MSRP (Shimano 105) Are these two Orbeas full carbon?
6. Specialized Roubaix Elite: $1,800 MSRP (Shimano 105/Ultegra)
7. TREK 5000: $1,929 MSRP (Shimano 105/Ultegra)
8. Giant OCR Composite Limited: $1,900 MSRP (Shimano Ultegra)
9. Fuji Team VI: $1,800 MSRP (Shimano 105)
