In an attempt to take the crash bandicoot title, I crashed at DISC on fri and broke my right collarbone. Someone went down right in front of me and I stopped (and flipped) almost instantly!

Seeing the specialist next week re: pinning!

Ouch! Hope you recover OK.

Did a double take mind you, one handed typing means something entirely
different in some circles...

Be original will you?!?!?!?!?

dude, i literally feel your pain :(

who you seeing?

PS make sure you get strapped UP tight. they left mine for 2 weeks straight after accident which pretty much guaranteed everything 'slipped down' and thus guaranteed surgery. Im facing a 27th deadline to meet certain 'parameters' otherwise its OP-take-2 for moi. grrrrrrrrrr

damn, that sucks PH

Those are the worst... when someone else takes you out, and there's
nothing you can do. (Thanks Abby...)

Hope you get a good specialist and it all works out well :) Tam

Just as a quick up date got a go ahead to get back on the bike!

Will be taking it easy and giving DISC a wide berth for a few more weeks yet.

really??? that's awesome. Im impressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you talking trainer or actually out on the road?

I got my go-ahead letter from TAC+surgeon last night
and i have spent every 5 minutes since changing my mind!
get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', get it done, naaaah its 'ok', ...

i REALLY dont wanna go thru all the bullshite again, nor do surgery, nor have a week off work (sometimes being 'the king' isnt a good thing
 ) nor lose form again, nor...

but then again, due to having left shoulde rebuilt years ago due to baseball, utilising the bogpaper is 'interesting', i cant sleep on my right side comfortably, i cant hang up washing (hang on, that should go in the prior paragraph!) and i get regular 'klunking' and krunching sounds. the pain is minimal 'most' of the time
oh, fuggit! i dont know WHAT to do. aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!

ride on Stu :D

No riding proper, I have done two short windtrainer sessions (after I cleaned off the dust!) and found that it wasn't too painful.

I have essentially full movement but there a few points that are a bit tight.

Am aiming for one short ride this week and then I have a week away so will in reality giving it another week off the bike.
