Back in the Dark Ages (OK, OK - the late '70's) SR drop-style
handlebars were available in both 26.0mm and 25.4mm diameter. Schwinn
drop-style steel handlebars were always 1" (25.4mm) diameter.
You whippersnappers don't know how good you got it.
