Will a Wippermann Titanium 10 speed chain work on a Dura-Ace 9 speed drivetrain? I think this model's width only differs by .3mm between the two sizes.

Is that enough to cause any adverse effects?

Why?! 9-speed chains work pretty well.

Err... let me rephrase the question.

I'm not an expert on tolerances, etc., but is a difference of .3mm substantial enough to cause problems (premature wear or skipping).

I only used the Wippermann Ti chain because it lists two widths for 9 vs. 10. I was wondering if it even mattered all that much.

If there is a chocie of widths,I'd use the proper one, just for 'correctness'.
