1. Dont wear anything under your cycling cloths.
2. Clipless pedals are better,you can learn.
3. Aero or lighter,just get a good wheelset.
4. Alum,Steel,Ti or Carbon frame will last you long enough till you get your next bike and they will all not do well in a crash.
5. Carbon looks purty.
6. Shimano and Campy are both good.
7. Just because it says 120psi doesnt mean you have to use 120psi.
8. You dont have to take your chain off to clean it{but if you do well ok then}
9. Steel bikes wont rust if you just take care of it a little.
10.Bibs are better but at least use shorts.
Bet i left out a few hundred.

It doesn't matter how light it is if it doesn't fit. You could probably stand to lose more weight than your bike anyway.

No matter how cheap it was, if it's the wrong size, then its useless!! (bikes, shoes, shorts, bars, cranks, stems, wheels, tyres, tubes) Yes, size is everything. :D

Well i know for a fact that my car is faster after i wash it so my bike has to be lighter/faster if its clean.

Don't ask "which bike should I buy".

You are the person riding the bike therefore your opinion is the only one that matters!

10 1/2. Don't replace the steel bolts in your stem with titanium just to save a few grams. Unless you want your shoulder held together with titanium screws...

15. Spend good money on good gear. You may thing you are saving a couple of dollors on cheaper knics, but you will have to by them more often.
