    Can someone please give me some advice?

    I have a 10s peed Campag Chorus chain. Whilst carrying out some maintenance I removed the chain from my bike by taking out a rivet, but not the "special" rivet that I later read you can replace! (of course I also then realised I needn't have removed it at all!)

    I've now cleaned the chain and found the special rivet, too late!

    Can I still replace the rivet with a chain connecter or should I buy a new chain? (it's not worn out)

    If I can repair it with a chain connecter, which should I use?

    Any advice gratefully received

    Campy doesn't recommend reuse of the old pin. Formally, they require the use of a link chain.

    For your situation, just leave what you have there and a quick link would work fine.
