16 hole rims and 32 hole hubs

Anyone laced up 16 hole rims to 32 hole hubs (eg Campag Record/Chorus). Found some nice deep alloy rims but they only come in 16/28/36.

I guess the stresses around half of the spoke holes will be about twice what they normaly are. is that enough of a problem to put the kybosh on my idea?

If that is the case, who makes 16 hole hub pairs?
