At 6% of my 1RM that is not a lot of weight at all.

Also doesn't explain how a less strong rider like Contador could beat Fabian in the Time Trial at the Tour de France.

We haven't even touched on the specific adaptations to imposed demands where the CNS message to the muscle is so specific that there is no transfer from a deadlift to the skill of riding a bike. So even if Cancelarra can only deadlift 200kg it isn't contributing anything to his cycling.
