2 bolt threadless stem torque

  1. For a 2 bolt stem, does anyone know approximate torque values to tighten
    the bolts? (M6.) Also, do you tighten the top first lightly then the bottom or the bottom first?

    It varies. My rule: make em tight enough,but not too tight. Grease the threads too.

  3. 3TTT Less stem says 10nm for the faceplate bolts, 9nm for the steerer bolts. I go 9nm on all of them, seems fine. Love that torque wrench!

    And my ITM milleniums say 7-8Nm for both.So what does that tell ya other than it varies.Never used a troque wrench myself.No issues either.
