2000 Dura-Ace vs 2004 Ultegra

Greetings,

I have a choice of buying a new (closeout) 2000 Dura-Ace bike or a new 2004 Ultegra bike for the same price. Any advice on which group will perform better?

I am steering towards the durace but want to make sure the newer Ultegra isn't better then the old Dura-Ace

Oh yeah, the Dura-Ace is with a Trek 5500 and the Ultegra is a Trek 5200. Any problem with a 4 year old Carbon Frame that has not been ridden?

what changed from 2000 DA to the last of the 9-speed in 2003 DA? flight-deck?

i'd go with the DA for the same price.
