this is my first post as I am looking to purchase a used road bike. I have a chance to get a used 2001 Cannondale R2000Si for $450 that is in good shape only one minor blimish on the bike, never dropped. The cranks where just replaced with a good used set, the wheels are Spingery and the saddle is new. Tires have quite a bit of tread left also.
question is do you think this bike is worth this price given it's age and that it has around 10,000 to 15,000 miles on it.
Here is the frame and fork info:
Frame Construction TIG-welded
Frame Tubing Material 6061 T6 aluminum
Fork Brand & Model Cannondale Slice Prodigy
Fork Material Carbon fiber composite, unicrown crown
Rear Shock Not applicable
Everything else is Shimano Ultegra except the crankset as it was just replaced, unsure of what it is. Planning to go ride/look at tomorrow however not sure if it was even worth the $450.
Here is BikePedia's info on it: http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/B...0+Si&Type=bike
thank you for your help
